Senior Software Engineer

Our client VentureDive seeking an experienced and talented Senior Software Engineer - iOS to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative iOS applications, As a member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction and mentoring junior developers, driving the success of our mobile products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.
• Implement user interfaces and features using UIKit and SwiftUI, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
• Work with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements and use cases and translate them a pragmatic and effective technical solution
• Architect and manage data persistence using Core Data and implement efficient networking solutions for API integration.
• Understand full-stack functionality, software design guidelines, general mobile landscape, trends, emerging technologies, and ways to optimize for better performance of app
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Lead code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Contribute to API design and best practices, ensuring scalability and maintainability of our mobile backend interactions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters in Computer Sciences or any related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in iOS software development.
• Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.
• Solid understanding of Core Data for data management.
• Strong experience with networking protocols and RESTful API integration.
• Proficient with SwiftUI and Combine. RXSwift is a plus
• Experience with Object-oriented programming (OOP) and Protocol-oriented programming (POP).
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Proven experience working in Agile development environments.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Up-to-date with modern software development practices.
