KSB Pumps Company Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Manager Supply Chain to lead its procurement and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate possesses 10 to 15 years of robust procurement experience within both local and international markets and holds a degree in Business or Engineering. Proficiency in SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is essential to streamline supply chain processes effectively. This role demands strong communication capabilities to collaborate with diverse, multicultural stakeholders and excellent organizational skills to manage complex follow-up tasks efficiently. The Senior Manager will oversee a team of 10 persons, driving performance and ensuring strategic alignment in all supply chain activities.

The Senior Manager will be responsible for designing and executing procurement strategies that meet lead times, quality standards, and cost targets. The role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing environments to coordinate closely with Product Management and Operations teams to optimize costs and improve quality through material substitution and vendor standardization. Monitoring supplier performance, conducting market analyses, and managing claims and discrepancies form key elements of this role. Regular reporting on category performance and open order status will be essential to maintain transparency and inform continuous improvement within the supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement of materials, contracts, and services ensuring alignment with lead times, specifications, and competitive pricing.
• Conduct detailed market analysis, cost reviews, and negotiations to implement cost-reduction strategies across assigned categories.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Operations teams to identify material substitutes that enhance quality, reduce costs, or standardize parts.
• Monitor timely delivery of both local and imported materials by tracking lead times and transportation durations.
• Maintain stringent quality standards through regular audits of pre-qualified vendors and address any material rejection rates or quality deviations.
• Expand the vendor list by identifying and qualifying new suppliers to standardize products and reduce lead times.
• Evaluate supplier performance consistently in line with established standard operating procedures and address any discrepancies or damages through claims management.
• Lead and mentor a team of 10 members to achieve departmental goals and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports detailing category performance, supplier delivery status, and open order status to senior management.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment with company objectives and continuous improvement of procurement processes.
