Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Support Engineer with 6–9 years of experience in SAP Commerce (Hybris) to serve as the technical escalation point for complex Commerce incidents and problems, driving permanent fixes across the platform and its integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deep expertise across the Hybris stack — type system and data modeling, ServiceLayer, storefront (Accelerator/Spartacus), and OCC REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of Solr search architecture, region cache behavior, session/transaction handling, and JVM/performance troubleshooting.
• Support integrations with third-party systems — SAP ECC/S4, OMS, PIM, payment gateways, tax, CRM — via Data Hub / SAP CPI, OCC APIs, and Impex/batch feeds.
• General support: lead major incident handling and formal RCA/problem management, manage escalations and stakeholder communication during P1/P2 incidents, track SLA compliance, and mentor junior and mid-level staff on process and platform.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 6–9 years of experience supporting and developing SAP Commerce (Hybris) applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• SAP Commerce extensions
• ServiceLayer architecture
• Spring Framework configuration and dependency injection
• Interceptors, Cron Jobs, and Event Listeners
  
• Solid understanding of SAP Commerce facades, services, checkout processes, promotion engine, and WCMS/CMS modules.
• SAP Commerce (Hybris) training or certification.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is an advantage.
• Good understanding of ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Linux/Unix environments, application servers (Tomcat), and log analysis.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven, Jenkins, and DevOps practices.
