Job Description:

The Enterprise64 team is looking to add a Software Architect to their growing software development team. The Software Architect will play a critical technical leadership role in ongoing and new .NET-related development projects by leveraging their deep experience in .NET. The Architect’s responsibility would be helping the overall technical teams in overcoming technical challenges, reviewing estimations, making technology decisions, and designing architectural solutions to meet both functional and non-functional requirements. Strong experience with Azure, cloud architecture, security, microservices, and other modern best practices is a must-have. Experience in Python and AI technologies is preferred.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10+ years of hands-on experience developing and architecting scalable, reliable .NET solutions leveraging modern design practices, such as containerization, CI/CD, Azure DevOps pipeline, and microservices.
• Proven experience in leading technical teams, providing technical direction, and mentoring team members.
• Python and AI technologies a nice to have.
• Must have experience working with frontend technologies like React or Angular.
• Demonstratable experience in implementing technology-specific best practices & standards.
• Decision-making mindset with success criteria in mind, from design through deployment, including reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability, and scalability.
• Design and develop .NET applications with Microsoft’s Azure cloud-hosted platform.
• Create standards for development, based on industry best practices, and mentor other team members to implement these standards.
• Design technical solutions from customer requirements to design and fulfill customer’s needs.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the design and deployment of new applications with a strong focus on both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Audit existing projects to ensure the development team is following industry best practices.
• Support DevOps efforts by designing, implementing, and maintaining automation through CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrate ability to stay current with application Architecture best practices, existing and emerging technology platforms, and architectural and systems engineering industry trends.
• Degree in a related field preferred.
• Azure Solutions Architect certification is preferred but not required.
• Deep experience with cloud architecture principles and standards.
• Deep experience and participation in all stages of the Agile processes.

Preferred Skills:

• 10+ years of .NET Development & Architecture experience leveraging newer technologies like .NET CORE and ASP.NET Identity, Azure, etc.
• Proven experience in technical leadership and leading software development teams.
• Web Front-End Development leveraging newer technologies like Angular and React.
• Python and AI technologies is nice to have.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical personnel and customers.
• Self-starter and ability to work as part of a team.
• Excellent critical thinking and critical thinking skills.
