Software Engineer II

• Seeking an astute individual that has a strong technical foundation and can work with the broader engineering team as part of the support/development cycle, and good knowledge of industry best practices, with the ability to implement them working with both IT Applications, and the Operations teams

Scope:

• Core responsibilities to include supporting existing integrations along with development in Enterprise Application Integrations Domain. Good understanding of middleware systems, API Management.
• The team currently comprises of 10+ global associates across US, India (COE). We are part of corporate engineering team who leverage cutting edge technologies such as AI/ML, RPA, Low Code to deliver innovative solutions for Blue Yonders. The incumbent should be a quick learner and adaptable who is willing experiment and learn quickly from failure

Our Current Technical Environment:

• Software: JavaScript, Python, Rest API, OAuth, Node.JS, DB, GIT
• Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, Event Driven
• Cloud Architecture: Exposure to MS Azure is added advantage

What You’ll Do Here:

• Support the existing suite of integrations, taking care of their enhancement requests
• Collaborate with experienced IT engineers to develop and deliver business applications integrations for Blue Yonders in a multi-cloud setting to enable L2C program
• Deliver solutions for business problems by leveraging the current technology stack and Azure technologies
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software

What We Are Looking For:

• Development and implementation experience of applications & integrations for 2-3 years.
• 1+ years of experience with SQL or any other DB
• Strong programming skills on Python/Node.JS or any programming language
• Strong experience in creating and consuming APIs using OAuth and other latest technologies
• Knowledgeable in platform operations, trouble shoot and support of API products.
• Knowledgeable in API Key Validation, Authentication, Authorization and Identity, API Management, REST
• Ability to deliver on tight timelines and move quickly with cross-functional teams to execute on decisions while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong knowledge in object-oriented design patterns, good coding practices.
• Familiarity in open-source tools and technologies.
