Solar Sales Engineer

This is a permanent, onsite opportunity where you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering cutting-edge solar solutions to our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive site assessments to gather critical data for solar PV system design.
• Develop detailed electrical designs and roof layouts for residential and commercial solar projects using CAD software.
• Perform energy modeling to accurately forecast system performance and savings for clients.
• Specify appropriate inverter technology and battery storage solutions based on project requirements and client needs.
• Generate compelling and accurate proposals, including technical specifications, cost estimates, and projected ROI.
• Effectively manage customer relationships, addressing inquiries, and providing expert technical guidance throughout the sales process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution from design to installation.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the solar industry, with a strong understanding of Solar PV Systems.
• Proficiency in Electrical Design principles and practices relevant to solar installations.
• Experience with Energy Modeling and Site Assessment methodologies.
• Familiarity with Roof Layouts and best practices for solar mounting.
• Knowledge of Inverter Technology and Battery Storage systems.
• Experience utilizing CAD Software for design purposes.
• Proficiency in Salesforce CRM or similar CRM platforms.
• Demonstrated ability in Proposal Generation.
• Strong Customer Relationship Management skills.
• Excellent Negotiation Skills.
• Exceptional Communication and Problem-Solving abilities.
• Basic Project Management understanding.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field is plus.
• Experience with advanced energy modeling software.
• Fluency in English (preferred).
