Solution Architect – Applications, AI & Power Platform

Project Accountants is seeking a Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of modern applications, AI-enabled solutions, and Microsoft Power Platform initiatives.

This role is ideal for a technically strong professional who can translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and innovative solutions while providing technical leadership across application development, cloud platforms, and AI technologies.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and external technology partners to design, build, and deliver solutions that drive business value and support the organisation's digital transformation objectives.

• Design end-to-end solution architectures across web, cloud, AI, and Power Platform environments.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
• Lead the development and delivery of scalable, secure, and maintainable applications and digital products.
• Architect AI-enabled solutions using Azure AI, OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, and automation technologies.
• Design integrations, APIs, and cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate ideas and accelerate solution delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to internal and external development teams.
• Review solution designs, code, and technical approaches to ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define solution roadmaps, priorities, and implementation plans.
• Support project planning, estimation, risk management, and delivery activities.
• Establish and promote development standards, architecture principles, and best practices.
• Ensure solutions align with security, compliance, and operational requirements.
• Drive adoption of modern technologies, automation, and AI capabilities across the business.
  

• 8+ years of experience in software development, solution architecture, technical leadership, or enterprise applications.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, .NET, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, APIs, and modern cloud technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).
• Experience designing and implementing AI-enabled solutions using Azure AI, OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, integrations, security, and modern software development practices.
• Experience leading developers or coordinating external development partners and technology vendors.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical delivery when required.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  

• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect certification.
• Power Platform Solution Architect certification.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with SaaS products and digital platforms.
• Knowledge of Azure Integration Services, API Management, and automation technologies.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and AI-powered business solutions.
