SQA Engineer

Mypro Appz is hiring a passionate and detail-driven SQA Engineer with 1–2 years of experience, based in Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Pakistan. As part of our Quality Assurance team, you will play a key role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and stability of our web and mobile applications. You’ll work in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and using automation tools and API testing to deliver bug-free, high-quality products.

What You Will Do

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases based on functional and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing on web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking tools like JIRA.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, define acceptance criteria, and resolve issues.
• Implement test automation using tools such as Selenium, Postman, and other relevant frameworks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and techniques.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance best practices and company standards.
• Prepare detailed test reports and communicate findings to development and management teams.
  
  

What We're Looking For

Must Have

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance.
• Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in API testing and understanding of REST/JSON structures.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Hands-on experience with QA tools like Selenium, Maestro, Postman, JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent.
• Strong grasp of QA processes, software development life cycle (SDLC), and bug lifecycle.
• Familiarity with test case management and bug tracking tools.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.
  
  

Bonus Points For

• Experience writing automation test scripts in JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• Knowledge of performance or load testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
• ISTQB or other QA certifications.
