SQA Intern

About The Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Intern to join our QA team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or final-year students who are eager to build a career in software testing and quality assurance. You will work alongside experienced QA Engineers and Developers to ensure our web and mobile applications meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Assist in creating and maintaining test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, UI, and usability testing.
• Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing before releases.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers to resolve issues.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and QA review meetings.
• Maintain accurate test documentation and testing reports.
• Learn QA best practices, SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (completed or final semester) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Knowledge of manual testing concepts and software testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  
  
  

Preferred Skills (Nice To Have)

• Familiarity with Jira, ClickUp, Azure DevOps, or similar bug-tracking tools.
• Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman.
• Understanding of SQL and databases.
• Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

Location: DHA Phase 6 Lahore (Onsite)

Job Type: Internship (Full-Time)

Duration: 3 Months (Leading to Permanent Position Based on Performance)

Timings: 9am - 6pm (Monday - Friday)
