Structural Draftsman - Work Together

Our client Work Together is hiring a Structural Draftsman in Rawalpindi.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Structural Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for various construction projects, ensuring all designs are compliant with industry standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and plans for structures according to specifications provided by engineers and architects.
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce accurate and precise drawings.
- Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to incorporate design changes and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Review designs and drawings for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain and update drawing records, ensuring all documents are stored and organized properly.
- Assist in the coordination of design and construction projects with other departments.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Structural Draftsman or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in CAD software and experience with other relevant design software.
- Strong understanding of structural design principles and building codes.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and translate them into detailed drafts.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Drafting Technology, Civil Engineering, or a related field; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Certification or diploma in computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) is advantageous.
- Portfolio of previous drafting work or projects is desirable.
- Familiarity with the construction industry standards and practices.
