Mission StatementTo drive end-to-end raw material availability and inventory replenishment in alignment with yearly, monthly and weekly production plans. Manage startegy and execution of strategic raw material categories; their supplier management and operations planning. Prepare business plans to ensure business continuity and growth.
Main ResponsibilitiesConvert Sales Plans into plant-wise and line-wise Production Plans, considering line capacities, RFS, shift patterns, and working days.
Assess long-term demand requirements and identify raw material capacity enhancements, sourcing strategies, and supply risks required to support future business growth.
Support the S&OP process by providing raw material availability insights, supply risk assessments, inventory projections, and recommendations to Sales, Marketing, Procurement, and Operations teams.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure continuity of supply, effective issue resolution, and alignment on capacity, lead times, and future business requirements.
Manage supplier performance by monitoring lead times, supply reliability, inventory positions, and global supply constraints to proactively mitigate supply chain risks.
Collaborate closely with Supply Planning teams across all manufacturing locations to align raw material requirements with production plans, line capacities, and business priorities.
Develop monthly and weekly material requirement plans aligned with demand forecasts, production schedules, and manufacturing processes.
Manage inventory levels, safety stocks, and replenishment parameters for all raw material categories to ensure material availability while optimizing working capital.
Manage long lead-time for all raw materials, by balancing stock levels, demand forecasts, and supply risks.
Support weekly production planning and execution by identifying and resolving material constraints to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations and customer service performance.
Manage finished goods replenishment and proactively address material-related risks to minimize out-of-stock situations and achieve customer order fill rate targets.
Act as the Supply Chain focal point for New Product Development (NPD), ensuring timely material setup, sourcing, inventory build-up, and launch readiness.
Track and analyze key supply chain KPIs related to material availability, inventory health, supplier performance, service levels, and working capital, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
