Sindh Institute of Physical & Rehabilitation (SIPM&R) is seeking a qualified and experienced System/Network Administrator to manage and maintain its IT infrastructure. The position involves ensuring the reliable operation, security, and efficiency of computer systems, servers, and network connectivity within the institute.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and IT systems.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot network or hardware issues.
• Implement security protocols, firewalls, and data protection strategies.
• Manage user accounts, backups, and IT asset inventory.
• Coordinate with software and hardware vendors for maintenance and upgrades.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of network resources.
• Prepare and maintain documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures.
• Support staff with technical issues and IT-related troubleshooting.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum Qualification: BS/BE in Computer Science, Systems, or IT (recognized by HEC).
• Experience: 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in IT system or network administration.
• Proficiency in Linux/Windows Server administration.
• Knowledge of network routing, switching, and firewalls.
• Experience with virtualization, data backup, and security tools.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
