Job Summary
The Tax Trainee will assist the tax team in compliance, filing, and documentation matters related to income tax, sales tax, and trademark registration. This role provides hands-on exposure to taxation procedures, client coordination, and regulatory compliance.

The Tax Trainee will assist the tax team in compliance, filing, and documentation matters related to income tax, sales tax, and trademark registration. This role provides hands-on exposure to taxation procedures, client coordination, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and e-filing of Monthly Sales Tax Returns under the supervision of senior team members.
- Support the tax team in providing sales tax compliance assistance and responding to routine client queries.
- Compile and organize trademark registration documents for existing and prospective clients.
- Assist in preparing trademark applications and tracking progress with the Trademark Registry.
- Support the preparation and e-filing of Monthly Income Tax Returns through the FBR portal.
- Review client data and identify discrepancies for discussion with senior staff and clients.
- Assist in the preparation and e-filing of Annual Income Tax Returns for Individuals, AOPs, and Companies.
- Help prepare Wealth Statements and Reconciliation Statements.
- Assist in preparing income tax workings and tax computations.
- Support the calculation of salary tax deductions and related compliance matters.
- Maintain client records, filing documentation, and tax-related correspondence.
- Stay updated on tax regulations and compliance requirements through training and guidance from senior professionals.
- Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of taxation concepts and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Eagerness to learn and develop a career in taxation and compliance.
