The role
Our Territory Manager is our front-line leader who manages the distributors and trade for the designated territory to ensure effective and efficient distribution operations and deliver sales, Key Performance Indicators / targets. The role
Our Territory Manager is our front-line leader who manages the distributors and trade for the designated territory to ensure effective and efficient distribution operations and deliver sales, Key Performance Indicators / targets. If you want to develop an in-depth understanding of the world of sales and help drive meaningful change through TMICC's growth agenda, then this role would interest you.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Drive Underlying Volume/Sales Growth across the Food Services channel within the assigned territory.
- Execute customer growth plans for key Food Services customers including hotels, restaurants, cafés, ice cream parlours, caterers, and institutional accounts.
- Identify, acquire, and onboard new Food Services customers to expand TMICC’s footprint and market penetration.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and negotiate commercial agreements, annual contracts, and Joint Business Plans with strategic customers.
- Ensure superior product availability, menu visibility, freezer placement, and brand presence across Food Services outlets.
- Partner with distributors to deliver sales targets, optimize route-to-market execution, and improve service levels for Food Services customers.
- Lead the execution of channel-specific promotional activities, menu integrations, seasonal activations, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing, assortment, and channel trends to identify growth opportunities and strengthen competitive advantage.
- Analyze sales performance, customer profitability, and outlet productivity to drive sustainable business growth and gross margin improvement.
- Lead and develop distributor sales teams, ensuring capability building, performance management, and achievement of key business KPIs.
- Maintain high standards of freezer asset management, cold chain compliance, and product quality across all Food Services customers.
- Continuously evaluate business performance and implement corrective actions through post-execution reviews and data-driven insights.
- Demonstrates strong commercial, financial, and negotiation acumen.
- Preferably has experience managing Food Services, HORECA, B2B, or Key Account customers
- Has the ability to build strategic partnerships with customers and distributors.
- Is comfortable analyzing sales data and customer profitability to identify growth opportunities.
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and digital sales tools.
- Enjoys spending significant time in the market building customer relationships.
- Stays up to date with Food Services trends, consumer insights, and competitive activity.
- Displays ownership, accountability, and a strong bias for action.
- Has strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
