Lucky Core Industries (LCI) is hiring a Trainee Engineer E&I Design who is eager to learn Electrical, Instrumentation and Control systems’ design. This role is ideal for fresh electrical engineers who want to build a strong foundation in E&I Design while working with experienced teams across multiple LCI businesses.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Support senior engineer / manager in preparing electrical load calculations, cable sizing, and technical specifications
  2. Assist in developing basic and detailed electrical engineering deliverables under supervision, including layouts, wiring diagrams, and panel schedules
  3. Help review vendor data sheets, technical offers, and specifications for electrical equipment
  4. Assist in preparing RFQs for electrical equipment, reviewing quotations, and supporting technical bid evaluations and comparisons
  5. Coordinate with business operations / project engineers, consultants, and vendors to help close electrical design and installation-related actions
  6. Learn and support energy optimization initiatives, power factor improvement, and electrical system efficiency enhancement activities


Required Knowledge & Technical Expertise

  • Understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals
  • Familiarity with P&ID, wiring diagrams, cable routing, earthing/grounding systems, and electrical layouts i.e. SLDs etc.
  • Strong focus on power system optimization, energy efficiency improvement, and real plant electrical problem-solving
  • Willingness to learn electrical design review processes, applicable standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC), and electrical safety requirements


Qualifications

  • B.Sc. Electrical Engineering from an HEC-recognized university & 0~1-year experience


Soft Skills

  • Good communication and teamwork skills along with strong analytical mindset
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take ownership of assigned tasks
