Job Title: Treasury & Banking Operations Assistant

Job Purpose

To support the Treasury and Finance function by ensuring efficient management of banking documentation, coordination with banks and authorized signatories, maintenance of banking records, execution of internal controls, and monitoring of payment processing activities.

Key Responsibilities

Banking Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain, organize, and scan all banking-related documents, including cheques, pay orders, bank correspondence, and supporting documents.
  • Assist in obtaining approvals and signatures on banking documents from authorized signatories.
  • Manage and maintain physical and electronic repositories of banking documents.
  • Ensure up-to-date records of signatories' CNICs and other critical banking documentation.
  • Coordinate onboarding and maintenance of banking signatories, including liaison with banks for biometric verification and documentation requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal audit, statutory, and regulatory requirements related to banking documentation.


Bank Coordination

  • Conduct daily visits to banks for submission, collection, and processing of banking documents.
  • Liaise with bank representatives to resolve routine banking matters and facilitate smooth banking operations.


Internal Controls & Reporting

  • Perform monthly internal control activities and maintain supporting documentation
  • Prepare and maintain records for audit and compliance reviews.


Payment Processing & Treasury Support

  • Monitor daily Host-to-Host (H2H) payment runs to ensure successful execution of payments.
  • Extract payment and banking reports from SAP as required


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in Treasury, Banking Operations, Finance, or Accounts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP.
  • Strong organizational and documentation management skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
