UI/UX 2D Artist — Mobile Games
About the role
We are an indie mobile game studio looking for a talented UI/UX 2D Artist to join our team. You will be responsible for designing and crafting visually stunning, polished game interfaces that feel intuitive and exciting to players. You'll work closely with the development team to bring game screens, menus, HUDs, icons, and buttons to life.


Responsibilities
[ol]Design high-quality UI screens, menus, icons, buttons, and HUD elements for mobile gamesApply strong color theory to create visually cohesive and appealing game interfacesCreate and maintain consistent visual style guides and asset librariesDesign with mobile screen sizes, resolutions, and touch interactions in mindCollaborate with developers and game designers to implement UI assets into the game engine[/ol]
Requirements
[ol]6-12 months of expeience in UI/UX design, preferably in the gaming industryProficiency in Adobe Photshop for creating and editing UI assetsStrong color theory knowledge— understanding of hue, contrast, readability, and moodPortfolio demonstrating high-quality UI work— game UI examples are a strong plusUnderstanding of Mobile UI/UX principles— layout, spacing, button sizing, and readability on small screensAbility to deliver Production-ready, neatly organized assets(correct naming, layering, and export formats)[/ol]
Nice to have
[ol]Experience with Adobe Illustrator or FigmaFamiliarity with Unity or similar game engines for asset handoffExperience animating UI elements (e.g. screen transitions, button feedback)Passion for mobile games and understanding of the casual/midcore genre[/ol]
