About The Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate is someone who understands modern content creation, has a strong eye for storytelling, and is proficient in video editing, motion graphics, and animation. You will work closely with the marketing and creative teams to produce high-quality videos for social media, campaigns, advertisements, presentations, and customer-facing content. Experience creating content for the restaurant industry, especially the US restaurant market, will be highly preferred. The role requires someone who can transform ideas into compelling visual experiences that educate, engage, and inspire restaurant owners.

What will be your responsibilities?

• Create engaging video content for social media, marketing campaigns, and brand storytelling.
• Edit short-form and long-form videos using professional editing tools while maintaining strong visual quality.
• Develop motion graphics, animations, transitions, and visual effects to enhance video storytelling.
• Turn concepts, scripts, and raw footage into polished, audience-focused content.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and product teams to create impactful visual assets.
• Stay updated with current video trends, editing styles, and content formats across social platforms.
• Optimize videos for different platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and paid advertising channels.
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment.
  
  

What are we looking for and what does it require to be the right fit for this role?

• 2+ years of experience in video editing, content creation, or a similar creative role.
• Strong proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
• Experience with motion graphics, animation, typography, and visual effects.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, composition, and visual communication.
• Ability to create engaging content from scratch, including ideation, scripting, editing, and final production.
• Experience working with US-based brands or restaurant businesses will be highly preferred.
• Strong creative mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to understand marketing goals and translate them into compelling videos.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Portfolio showcasing video editing, animation, and creative content work is required.
