Job Description

We are looking for a creative and versatile Video & Creative Content Specialist who can lead video production while also collaborating closely with the design team to elevate our brand presence. This role goes beyond video, requiring a strong eye for design, storytelling, and brand consistency across all visual touchpoints. This is a part-time role focused on flexible, output-driven collaboration.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, shoot and produce podcast-style video content featuring internal team members, clients, and industry experts.
  • Create engaging LinkedIn video content aligned with Datum Labs’ brand voice and positioning.
  • Cover events, behind-the-scenes moments, and company activities through high-quality video storytelling.
  • Edit videos with a strong focus on pacing, storytelling, and professional quality.
  • Collaborate with the design team to enhance visual identity across social media, marketing assets, and campaigns.
  • Contribute to design concepts, layouts, and creative direction for brand assets.
  • Ensure consistency in branding, visuals, and messaging across all content formats.
  • Support creation of thumbnails, social creatives, and campaign visuals.
  • Manage content calendars for video and visual content distribution.
  • Stay updated with trends in video, design, and B2B content.



Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in video production, content creation, and basic graphic design.
  • Strong skills in video shooting, editing, and post-production (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools).
  • Strong skills in audio editing (Adobe Audition, GarageBand, or similar tools).
  • Working knowledge of design tools (Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of branding, composition, color, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into simple, engaging visual and video content.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.



Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in video podcast production and interview-style content.
  • Familiarity with personal branding and founder-led content strategies.
  • Understanding of LinkedIn content dynamics and B2B storytelling.
  • Basic knowledge of lighting setups, audio recording, and motion graphics.
  • Experience working with startups, agencies, or tech companies.
  • Mastering aperture, shutter speed, and ISO (the exposure triangle)
  • Smooth panning, tilting, gimbal and stabilizer operation
  • Natural light, artificial lighting setups and using reflectors/diffusers
