DG Hub seeks a skilled Video Editor with 1 to 3 years of professional experience or an exceptional portfolio for fresh candidates. This role involves crafting visually compelling video content using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Adobe After Effects. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in video editing, motion graphics, audio mixing, and storytelling to produce high-quality videos optimized for various social media platforms. The position requires a creative professional with strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently while handling multiple projects.

This role emphasizes advanced video editing techniques, including color grading, subtitle creation, platform-specific optimization, and integrating motion graphics and audio enhancements. The ideal candidate also brings familiarity with emerging tools like AI editing software and a solid grasp of social media algorithms to drive engagement. While managing a team is not part of this position, the candidate must effectively manage their workload and contribute to DG Hubs content creation with professionalism and creativity.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, compelling videos that meet DG Hubs quality standards.
• Apply motion graphics, visual effects, and compositing techniques using Adobe After Effects and similar tools to enhance video content.
• Perform color correction and grading to ensure consistency and aesthetic appeal across all video projects.
• Edit and synchronize audio tracks, including mixing, editing, and enhancing sound quality for clarity and impact.
• Create and integrate subtitles, captions, and other text elements to improve accessibility and viewer engagement.
• Optimize video outputs according to platform-specific requirements for YouTube, social media, and other digital channels.
• Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to understand video goals and deliver creative storytelling aligned with brand messaging.
• Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality.
• Utilize AI editing tools and advanced video software such as CapCut and Wondershare Filmora to increase efficiency and innovation in editing workflows.
• Maintain an organized archive of project files, raw footage, and final edits for easy retrieval and reuse.
• Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, technologies, and social media algorithm changes to keep DG Hubs content relevant and engaging.
• Demonstrate strong visual storytelling capabilities, translating concepts and scripts into engaging video narratives.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while communicating progress and challenges effectively.
