We are looking for an ambitious Assistant Brand Manager to join our team and help drive the next phase of Lifebuoy's growth in Pakistan.

Job Purpose

As an Assistant Brand Manager, you will support the Brand Manager in developing and executing brand strategies, campaigns, and innovations that strengthen brand equity, grow market share, and deliver business objectives. This role demands consumer obsession, commercial acumen, creativity, and strong execution skills.

What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be

Brand Strategy & Planning

  • Support in annual brand planning and category strategy execution.
  • Assist in shaping positioning, communications, and innovations
  • Innovation & Product Development
  • Coordinate with R&D, supply chain, and global teams on new product development, packaging, and variant launches.
  • Track competitor innovations and market trends, identifying whitespace opportunities.

Campaign Management

  • Drive integrated marketing campaigns (TV, digital, PR, shopper) with agencies.
  • Ensure strong execution and alignment with brand purpose and equity guidelines.

Business & Financial Delivery

  • Monitor brand performance through Nielsen, Kantar, and internal dashboards.
  • Support in P&L management, pricing, and portfolio optimization.
  • Trade & Shopper Marketing
  • Work closely with sales and shopper teams to activate brand visibility and drive conversion in retail and e-commerce.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams (Media, CMI, Finance, Supply Chain) and external agencies to deliver end-to-end initiatives on time.

Qualifications/Experiences

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in FMCG marketing
  • Strong command of digital marketing and data analytics tools is a plus.

  • Brand & Consumer Insight: Strong understanding of FMCG consumers, ability to decode behaviors and translate them into winning propositions.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to simplify complexity, spot growth opportunities, and link brand purpose with commercial outcomes.
  • Executional Excellence: Detail orientation, project management, and ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Creativity & Storytelling: Comfort in working with creative agencies, developing content, and creating compelling brand stories.
  • Analytical Rigor: Strong with numbers, market data, and financial analysis; able to track KPIs and take corrective actions.
  • Collaboration & Influence: Team player who can engage cross-functional partners, agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Agility & Growth Mindset: Willingness to test, learn, and adapt quickly in a competitive and fast-paced market.
