Who is the Ideal Candidate?

We are actively seeking self-assured and skilled accountants with a proven track record in UK practice, capable of consistently meeting deadlines and producing thorough reports for management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a profound understanding of UK accounting and financial practices, possess knowledge of pertinent accounting principles, and exhibit a firm grasp of both personal and corporate UK tax brackets.

Required Skills And Responsibilities

• Proficiently address bookkeeping queries through clear and effective communication with clients.
• Expertise in preparing and finalising value-added tax (VAT) returns.
• Skillfully compile draft year-end financial accounts.
• Competence in utilising Xero for the generation of Management Accounts.
• Ability to reconcile Debtors and Creditors efficiently.
• Post adjusting journals to ensure accurate balances in the general ledger.
• Diligently record notes to the accounts in the client's prescribed format.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• ACCA Part-Qualification at the very least.
• Demonstrated strong time management skills, punctuality, and adherence to time-off policies.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Solid knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
• Xero certification is essential, and familiarity with QuickBooks is considered an advantage.
