Duties And Responsibilities
Invoice Processing & Payments
- Receive, review, and verify invoices for accuracy, proper approvals, and compliance with company policies.
- Process payments (P2P) to local and international suppliers, ensuring timely disbursement.
- Match invoices (3-way matching) with purchase orders and delivery notes, identifying discrepancies and resolving them.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions in the accounting system.
- Maintain strong relationships with automobile suppliers, logistics partners, and service providers.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Communicate with vendors to address payment inquiries and disputes.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing by preparing AP reports and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, tax requirements, and internal audit policies.
- Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounts payable processes and enhance efficiency.
- Assist in managing cash flow by forecasting upcoming payments and due obligations.
- Monitor and control expenses to optimize cost-saving opportunities.
- An Account Payable Executive plays a vital role in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical, accounting, and organizational skills to support financial operations efficiently.
