Join our team as an Accountant - Transaction Accounting at our Lahore office with responsibility for Accounts payables, Fixed Assets accounting, Cash and banking, intercompany transactions within Digital Industry Software business.
What you'll be doing
As a member of a team responsible for the governance and related policies over the Transaction Accounting for DISW Pakistan entity, you will need to ensure and maintain reporting accuracy, transparency, and compliance with Siemens Financial reporting guidelines and local statutory requirements, including:
Ensure accuracy of invoice posting with supporting documentation.
Timely payments to employees and vendors.
Maintain Fixed Asset Register and ensure the information is updated.
Daily bank reconciliation and cash posting.
Prepare journal entries, monthly bank & cash reconciliations, including VAT reconciliation.
Provide support for internal and external audits.
Monthly and Quarterly e-filing for taxes (services, supplies & rent).
Coordinate with the GBS team for processing of all vendor invoice payments, ensure WHT sales tax, WHT income tax, and payment to the vendor in due time.
Coordination with consultants and local authorities for compliance & other matters of Taxation, EOBI, SECP, and Payroll, etc.
Assist with any other transaction accounting topics within the India Hub, ad-hoc requests, or projects, as necessary.
Adhere to internal Siemens policies/guidelines in daily workings. Keep abreast with changes in internal guidelines and external accounting standards.
What you'll bring
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
Ideally at least Minimum 3 years working experiences in Finance and accounting focusing on Account Payable / Fixed Asset / cash and banking Process.
Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
Experienced in handling SAP AP/FA/Cash application module.
Supportive, flexible, meticulous and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Fluency in English (both written and spoken) to liaise with other global stakeholders.
Working experience in handling accounts in SAP-ERP would be an added value.
Strong communication and interpersonal skill.
Undertake ad-hoc projects and other job duties which may be assigned from time to time.
