Job Identification
We are looking for a Accounting Specialist to be part of our Finance team in Faisalabad.
What We Expect
- Ensure implementation of controls and SOPs in true letter and spirit to safeguard company’s assets and inventories.
- Conduct Daily/Weekly & Monthly Stock Counts of Finished Goods, Raw Materials and Stores & Spares and comparing stock count numbers with system reports.
- Identification of differences, if any, resolution of the same and reporting to Line Manager & Territory Supply Chain Leadership Team.
- Posting of Inventory adjustments in system after physical verification/validation and after getting approval from all as per Company Policies and Procedure Manual.
- Responsible to conduct physical verification of all Fixed Assets in the territory according to Company's Policies and Procedures.
- Identification of the difference’s vs Fixed Asset register and submission of the report to the supervisor for resolution of these differences. Ensure that all the Fixed Assets are properly tagged all the times as per Fixed Asset register.
- Support in preparation of Insurance Claims, timely submission to the insurance company, coordination with the surveyor for assessment of loss. Follow-up with Head Office Control team and Insurance Company for timely settlement of Claims.
- Maintain complete track of insurance claims. Ensures effective Gate Operations and Controls are in Place without any reach.
- Periodic/Surprise Random and sample-based checking of Haulage/Sales vehicle etc.
- Ensure maintenance of gate movements record as per Policies. Proper follow up of returnable gate passes, and monthly reporting to Supervisor for action.
- Recons for Gate/RS/Shipping Reporting and follow up of abnormalities to the departments concerned.
- Finalize Duty Roster of Gate Staff according to business requirements.
- Ensuring Zero Non-Compliance of Labor Laws while finalizing roster.
- Monitor the Scrap Sale process, identification of improvement areas/anomalies in process and communicate these to supervisor and coordinate with Supply Chain team to fix these issues.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance of scrap SOP at Plant. Verification of Gate pass according to weighing slips of scrap material. Assurance of collection/Proceeds prior to lifting of Scrap. Surprise check of scrap vehicles at gate on random base.
- Support Supervisor/Line Manager for Half yearly/Yearly Internal & External Audits.
- Ensure proper implementation of Management action plans against audit findings.
- Ensuring timely capitalization of fixed assets/additions, deletions, transfers are properly incorporated in Fixed Asset registers after completion of all documentary requirements.
- Coordination with Territory Supply Chain for timely posting of entries with respect to monthly closing. Sharing closing message with Head office control team on completion of Production entries, Component Postings, GRNs, Store Issuance etc.
