The Accounts Executive - Payables is responsible for managing the accounts payable function within an organization. This role involves ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining financial records.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Data entry and bookkeeping (recording day-to-day financial transactions).
- Preparing invoices, handling petty cash, and managing payments.
- Assisting in preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and reports.
- Maintaining accounts payable and receivable records.
- Supporting audit processes, tax filing, and compliance work.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA’s) required to successfully perform the job:
- Proficiency in accounting software packages such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends
- Ability to accurately record and analyze financial data.
- Ability to maintain accurate and organized financial records.
- Ability to identify and resolve accounting issues and discrepancies.
- MBA, BBA, B.Com or Part Qualified: ACCA, ICMA
- 2-3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping roles.
