AI & ML Engineer (OCR & Computer Vision)

Job Description

muSharp is looking for a passionate AI & ML Engineer with 1-2 years of experience in Optical Character Recognition (OCR). The ideal candidate will assist in building, training, and deploying AI models to extract and process data from documents and images, contributing to our innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and implementing OCR systems for text extraction and data processing.

• Work with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras.

• Perform image preprocessing, text recognition, and post-processing for accuracy improvement.

• Contribute to training and optimizing OCR models using relevant datasets.

• Collaborate with senior team members to integrate OCR models into tools and platforms.

• Support data annotation, model validation, and fine-tuning tasks.

• Stay updated with the latest AI/ML trends to improve existing solutions.

Required Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in AI/ML, with a focus on OCR systems.

• Proficiency in Python and libraries like OpenCV, NumPy, and Pandas.

• Hands-on experience with OCR tools (Tesseract, EasyOCR, or similar).

• Understanding of machine learning concepts and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch).

• Familiarity with image processing techniques.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) is a plus.

• Familiarity with APIs for model integration.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
