What You Will Be Doing

• Construct and deliver working AI prototypes in under 24 hours that directly automate live business workflows
• Take full ownership of AI solutions across the entire pipeline, from architecture to deployment to observability, without dependencies or delays
• Advance continuous automation throughout the organization by surfacing new opportunities and refining existing solutions to align with shifting needs and emerging capabilities

Basic Requirements

• AI-First Mindset (if your default approach is to write code first and then leverage AI tools to validate or improve your code, rather than the reverse, then please do not apply)
• A minimum of 5 years of full-stack software engineering experience (you must possess both front-end and back-end development proficiency)
• Professional experience embedding AI/LLMs (through APIs, prompt engineering, or automation) into production applications
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and constructing scalable, distributed architectures
• An understanding of when and why to select particular LLM models for distinct use cases
• Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of the Model Context Protocol (MCP)

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
