Job Purpose

To streamline and optimise the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes within NFL’s corporate division by collaborating with various business units and stakeholders to gather, analyse, and interpret financial data. This provides the organisation with detailed and accurate financial insights, facilitating timely and informed decision-making.

Job Responsibilities

• Support Strategic Forecasting & Financial Planning Contribute to financial forecasting and planning for corporate initiatives by assessing business plans, analyzing cost transformation efforts, evaluating pricing strategies, and reviewing product performance metrics aligned with organizational goals.
• Financial Analysis & Business Partnering Assist the FP&A Manager to monitor and interpret financial performance. Consolidate CAPEX, OPEX and headcount requirements across functions to support planning and resource allocation.
• Budget Implementation & Variance Monitoring Implement approved departmental budgets into corporate systems. Track actual vs. budgeted performance, highlight variances, and ensure alignment with financial policies and controls.
• Corporate Financial Data Analysis Analyze key financial indicators—including revenue, costs, cash flow, inflation, and FX movements—to identify trends, variances, and risks that inform data-driven decision-making.
• P&L Digitalization through Power BI Dashboards Drive the digitalization of Profit & Loss reporting by developing and updating interactive Power BI dashboards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to consolidate financial inputs at divisional and category levels, conduct trend analysis, and visualize performance against targets and historical data for enhanced decision-making.
• Reporting & Stakeholder Communication Develop and deliver routine and ad hoc financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including banks, senior management, and cross-functional teams. Ensure timely review and submission to the Head of FP&A.
• Policy & Procedure Review Assess the effectiveness of existing financial processes and policies, recommending improvements to align with strategic goals and FMCG best practices.
• Variance & Root Cause Analysis Investigate key variances between actuals and forecasts by analyzing underlying operational drivers, collaborating across departments, and presenting insights with corrective action plans.
• BoD Deck Preparation & Executive Reporting Assist in the preparation of Board of Directors (BoD) presentation decks by compiling strategic financial insights, key performance indicators, and business highlights to support executive-level decision-making and corporate storytelling.
• Continuous Learning & Best Practice Adoption Stay updated on trends and innovations in FP&A to support the alignment of financial strategies with industry-leading practices.
• Investment & Project Evaluation Conduct financial feasibility studies for corporate projects, analyzing ROI, funding requirements, and potential business impact to guide capital allocation decisions.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or professional certification in relevant discipline with 3-5 years of experience

• Postgraduate degree in relevant discipline with 2-4 years of experience
