PURPOSE

The incumbent is responsible for performing and integrating the GIS mapping of the Distribution Power Network spanning to 2,000 km (avg) and an average area of 200 sq km of the assigned cluster. The incumbent is responsible to create a digital twin of physical twin HT/LT network along with cadastral data and KE assets information. The incumbent has to plan the comprehensive surveying activities involving at least 12 members hybrid comprising mainly of Operations resources, retrieve the data, perform analysis and modeling, and store it into the GIS System. Responsible for daily/forth nightly GIS analytical reports. The incumbent is also responsible to monitor/maintaining the cluster Schematics repository (Single-Line Diagrams) in close coordination with the Operations and ensure its synchronization with the geospatial data.

Experience: 1+ years

Qualification: Bachelor's in software engineering, Geography/GIS field, Computer Science and any other IT subject.

1 HT Network Update 25%

• Responsible for the mapping of all HT network changes & new assets in the GIS system.
• Responsible for the mapping of the internal structure of Substation on assigned clusters in coordination with SSM.
• Update/ Maintain UG network by aligning and coordinating the GIS. Surveyor with the UGM Dept., and facilitate joint/ fault marking activities.
• Responsible to maintain data completeness, integrity, and accuracy w.r.t. ArcFM standard data model.
• Incorporate network safety data in the GIS system including pole condition, earthing, sags, etc.
• Update / Maintain Check meter data in the GIS system to enable AMR dashboard analytics.
  
  

2 ArcFM Schematics – Operational SLDs 15%

• Responsible for the mapping of ArcFM Schematics – SLD.
• Responsible to maintain and update of network changes in SLD on daily basis in coordination with stakeholders.
• Responsible for the enablement of operational resources to maintain ArcFM Schematics.
• Make available SLD ArcFM Network layouts as per the Operation’s needs.
• Shared daily synchronization quantification report of Feeders & Transformers w.r.t. ArcFM Schematics & Networks.
  
  

3 LT Network Mapping 20%

• Responsible for the mapping of LT network in GIS system along with the network upkeep.
• Responsible to collect LT network survey data from hybrid team and process into ArcFM standard data model and incorporate it in GIS System.
  
  

4 Consumer Tagging/Relocation & Base-map Development 10%

• Responsible for digitization & tagging of Consumers.
• Responsible for the digitization & mapping of base-map especially for Slum Areas.
• Responsible for the digital relocation of consumers meter from pole to KE survey number.
  
  

5 Communication & Coordination 10%

• Daily basis coordination with stakeholders like Operations, UGM, SSM, CM, PM, LDC, IBCs for the changes in HT Network.
• Collecting users/stakeholders’ feedbacks & concerns timely report to line managers.
  
  

6 Facilitation 20%

• Facilitate PM, CM, APM in proposed planning for SIP, new feeder laying, feeder’s length & segment, etc. using GIS platform.
• Geospatial Cartographic support to produce digital and paper maps of the collective data sets and layouts designs.
• Facilitate Operations in GIS needs such as geographic locations of electrical network and existence of Underground cables.
• Electrical network assets quantification report as per the need & requirement of stakeholders.
• Provide support for simulation modeling to the simulation team.
• GIS geospatial analysis for new proposed feeder shifting with minimum cost for network planning.
• Facilitate operations for network health & safety concerns like pole condition etc.
