Android Developer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of working experience as an Android Mobile App developer.
• Proven experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of Android applications.
• Proficient in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle, including UI/UX design, testing, and deployment.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs, as well as integrating RESTful web services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in mobile development.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.

Primary Duties Performed

• Collaborate with the project working groups about the stages of the projects including the scope, and timelines;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality Android applications.
• Design and implement innovative solutions for mobile application development, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness.
• Keep an eye on error logs, you should know before it is reported back from any customer.
• Debug and resolve software defects and issues, maintaining code integrity and organization throughout the development process.
• Create and maintain comprehensive Android development documentation.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and scalability issues in existing systems, proposing solutions for efficient resource utilization.
• Make sure you test the app before the event.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in Android development and incorporate best practices into our development processes.
• Conduct thorough testing to identify and address potential issues, ensuring the delivery of reliable and bug-free applications.
• Collaborate in the full development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
• Undertake such other tasks as and when required by the Chief Technology Officer.
• Work closely with a dynamic team to brainstorm and implement creative solutions, while having the autonomy to bring your insights and ideas to the table.
• Contribute to the development process independently, making informed decisions that positively impact the technical aspects of Android app development.
