Key Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, payments, and collections.
- Monitor withholding tax deductions on customer payments, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and tax authorities.
- Prepare monthly sales tax closing reports, accurately calculating and summarizing taxable sales, tax reconciliations, in accordance with prescribed formats and deadlines.
- Process employee expense claims, verifying receipts, manage advances, timely payment processing and ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Prepare supporting documentation for financial audits.
- Collaborate with other departments on financial matters.
- ACCA part-qualified or equivalent accounting qualification
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role
- Proficient in financial accounting principles and practices
- Strong understanding of Pakistani tax laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, with a preference for accounting software experience
