Job Description:
Qualification & Experience:
Essential:

• MBA (Supply Chain Management) or related Discipline from an HEC recognized University.

• Minimum 5 – 7 Years Public Procurement experience.

Desirable :

• Masters Electrical Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shortlisting/ Categorization of lab equipment.

• Preparation/ review of BOQ of different types of lab equipment.

• Preparation of bidding documents in accordance with PPRA Rules.

• Upload the documents on EPADS and address all queries due to system-generated responses or those entered by bidders.

• Familiarity with reference pricing and market dynamics.

• Conduct bid opening process on EPADS.

• Carry out bid evaluations and prepare comparative statements.

• Be familiar with grievance redressal mechanisms, their legal implications, and response thereto.

• Preparation of LoIs, POs, and Contract agreements in respect of each procurement.

Monitor and ensure timely delivery

• Ensuring quality of goods/ services.

• Distribution of procured goods to the end users and maintenance of Inventory.

Conduct public auctions
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• EPADS Procurement Processes 2 x years

Terms & Conditions:

• Candidates are required to attach scanned copies of their documents (Academics / Professional).

• Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC.

• Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:

• 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.

• NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.

• In process of pursuing a required degree.

• Medically unfit.

• Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.
