Assistant Manager, Accounts Payable

About The Opportunity

We’re looking for a highly driven and motivated “Assistant Manager” for our team in Pakistan. If you are looking for a place where you can gain hands-on exposure and have a direct impact, then this may be the place for you!

The ideal candidate will have a track record as a significant individual contributor – comfortable working independently, whilst working closely with the management team. This role will be based in Pakistan and will report to the “Team Lead Finance”.

Responsibilities

• Enforcing 3WM as per compliance (supervision of the task which is to be carried out by direct reports)
• Ensuring timely payments related to Inventory (Direct Payables)
• Ensuring timely recording of payments in SAP as per accounting policies and IFRS.
• GLs and Vendor Ledger Reconciliations
• Applying relevant taxation knowledge on payments and assisting tax team for sales tax and income tax returns.
• Managing external and internal stakeholders where needed.
• Streamlining SOPs and Workflows for further optimization (experience in process excellence)
• Develop new, maintain existing financial dashboards using BI tools like Tableau, Lookerstudio, PowerBi etc
  
  

Requirements

What you need to be successful

• CA/ACCA, MBA Finance or any other accounting qualifications would be a plus.
• Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques.
• Team Management Skills.
• Stakeholder Management
• Hands on approach over SAP or any other ERP
• 2-3 years of relevant working experience
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with ability to convey financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
• Pressure handling and quick learner would be a plus
• Candidate looking to join on an urgent notice would be a plus
• You must be adept at G-Suite
