BAT Global Business Solutions Pakistan has an exciting opportunity for Assistant Manager Corporate Finance in Lahore

Contract Type This is a fixed-term contract role with BAT for 12 months.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Ensure a timely analysis, identification, communication and resolution of balance sheet account reconciliation issues to avoid frauds and potential monetary losses due to an inappropriate accounting practice.
  • Manages the Finance Shared Services Central budget (preparation & reporting) including QPRs and Company Plan.
  • Provide support to line manager in relation with Understanding and challenging Regional GBS Company budgets; Finance inputs to Global Company S&OP; GBS Company influenced Finance costs globally (including Accounting Services, Planning & Reporting, Functional Management, Tax & Treasury & Corporate Finance)
  • To coordinate Planning & Reporting during the preparation of the annual Plan and the quarterly reporting
  • Support ongoing changes in company business model; undertakes ad hoc reviews & input into company’s projects.
  • Primary contact for local auditors regarding actual reported data in the group books.
  • Generates monthly financial overview presentation for management. Explains variances.
  • Manages the quarterly planning exercises and the Company Plan

What are we looking for?

  • At least 3 - 5 years of experience in applying Finance in global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment.
  • Understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, specifically BI/BPC, SAP or ERP equivalent
  • Understand the impact of the accounting process and practice.
  • Understand the platforms and analyse reports, identify issues and challenges within reports functionalities and data.
  • Meticulous, analytical, proactive, and can work under pressure with minimum supervision.
  • Knowledgeable in identifying risks and in implementing controls.
  • Experienced in Audit and Compliance (Internal / External)
  • Degree educated with professional accountancy qualification (i.e., CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA)
