Assistant Manager Production

You will support and lead production activities that ensure safe, high-quality supply to patients. You will work closely with production, quality, engineering and planning teams to meet targets and improve processes. Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to meet safety, quality and schedule targets.
• Coach and develop operators and technicians through clear expectations and hands-on feedback.
• Monitor compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice and site procedures; lead investigations and ensure corrective actions close.
• Maintain accurate production documentation, batch records and system entries.
• Work with planning and engineering to manage material flow, equipment availability and capacity.
• Lead small improvement projects to raise efficiency, reduce waste and improve key metrics.
  
  
  

Education, Experience And Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production or manufacturing in a regulated industry.
• Experience supervising or leading teams on the shop floor.
• Practical knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and quality systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Experience with SAP or manufacturing execution / inventory systems.
• Training or experience in operational excellence, Lean or Six Sigma methods.
• Experience with material handling, warehouse interfaces or logistics coordination.
• Familiarity with EHS risk assessments and safety program implementation.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
