Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager - Internal Audit

Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of the internal audit plan in alignment with strategic goals and risk frameworks; identify, assess, and prioritize risks across operations, and cutting areas.
- Conduct weekly/monthly payroll reconciliations, verify hiring and promotions, perform sample-based employee validations, and ensure compliance with HR policies.
- Carry out monthly physical stock counts, reconcile with system records, and report on stock and aging inventory.
- Evaluate machine conditions, and floor-level WIP; identify and report any unaccounted inventory.
- Reconcile fabric and WIP, review lay slips and cutting range efficiency, analyze wastage, dead stock, and stitching rejections, and report findings through Cutting MIS with variance analysis.
- Prepare and publish audit reports with clear, actionable recommendations; track implementation and ensure timely closure of audit points.
- Participate in project-based or ad-hoc tasks as required by management.
- Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance. CA Finalist, ACCA, or CIA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in internal audit, preferably in garment/textile industry.
- Language: Fluent in English
- Travel: International travel required
