Our client is hiring an Assistant Manager of Operations to lead and oversee operational functions. Based in Karachi, this role reports to the Operations Manager and supervises the Operations Team. The position is integral to improving efficiency, ensuring compliance, and driving strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement streamlined processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop, document, and update standard operating procedures.
  • Supervise and guide operational teams, including customer service, data processing, and compliance, while fostering teamwork and collaboration.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Generate reports to provide insights into operational efficiency and highlight areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute operational strategies.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and clients to ensure smooth interactions and resolve issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 3–4 years of experience in trade finance operations, including handling LCs and export transactions, preferably in a reputable bank or corporation.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, regulatory requirements, and operational risk management.
  • Proficiency in project management, process optimization, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
