Responsibilities:

  • Build, monitor, and maintain efficient ETL/ELT pipelines to process large datasets from multiple sources
  • Support the design and optimization of databases to ensure robust data storage and retrieval
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate raw data into structured formats for analytics and reporting
  • Conduct quality checks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Work with data analysts, and engineers to align on data architecture and infrastructure needs
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for data processes, workflows, and best practices


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 6 months to 1 year of professional experience in a data engineering or related role
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL.
  • Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Exposure to big data tools like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar is a plus
  • Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is desirable
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving data-related issues
