The successful Senior Software Engineer works for the homebuilding industry’s leading-edge enterprise software product.

The hired candidate will be located and work out of the Contour Software Karachi office, working as part of the resource-center team, as an extension of the division-based R&D department. Working hours are until 1pm Eastern North America time.

The Senior Software Engineer designs and creates commercial-grade, high performing, resilient and manageable ERP software applications for homebuilders Responsibilities include:

• Perform hands-on coding to adopt, maintain, and enhance core application framework of large-scale commercial-grade ERP software.
• Produce software designs and architecture diagrams for complex and scaable solutions.
• Review, debug, and optimize code.
• Estimate, prioritize, and perform development tasks in an agile development environment.
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement efficient and scalable software solutions.
• Collaborate with other development teams to develop and support an overall software solution for customers.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• EXPERT-level verbal and written English communication skills
• 7+ years software engineering experience with C# in .NET Framework and .NET Core Development.
• 5+ years relational database development experience.
• 3+ years Web Application development experience in RESTful services and Web APIs.
• 3+ years Web UI development experience in Angular or other modern Web UI framework such as React.
• Proficient in software design patterns, principles, and modern development practices.
• Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and optimize complex database queries.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and skills.
