Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated Junior Django Developer to join our team. The candidate will work on designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs for web applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer with a foundational understanding of Django and a passion for learning to grow their skills in a collaborative environment.

Job Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python: Basic knowledge of Python programming and its core principles.
• Familiarity with Django: Understanding of Django framework, including models, views, templates, and Django ORM.
• REST API Development: Knowledge of building and consuming REST APIs using Django Rest Framework (DRF).
• Database Knowledge: Understanding of relational databases like SQL Server or Oracle and basic SQL queries.
• Version Control: Experience using Git for version control and collaboration.
• Debugging and Testing: Ability to use debugging tools and write basic unit tests.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

• Experience with Docker or containerized applications.
• Familiarity with authentication mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth2).
• Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities:

API Development and Maintenance:

• Build, test, and maintain scalable and secure RESTful APIs using Django Rest Framework.
• Integrate APIs with databases, ensuring data consistency and performance.

Code Quality and Documentation:

• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Maintain proper documentation for APIs and endpoints.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
• Work closely with front-end developers to integrate APIs with user interfaces.

Debugging and Optimization:

• Identify and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Ensure high-quality application performance and reliability.

Learning and Growth:

• Stay updated on Django and Python developments.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute ideas for improvement.

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Remote

Working Hours: 5 Days. 11 am - 7 pm

Starting Salary: PKR 480,000 - PKR 660,000 annually
