Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Requirements Analysis: Thoroughly review software requirements and specifications to identify
• automation opportunities and define the scope of testing.
• Test Case Design: Create comprehensive test cases that cover various scenarios and edge cases to
• ensure thorough testing coverage.
• Automation Script Development: Develop robust automated test scripts using appropriate tools and
• programming languages (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber).
• Test Execution and Maintenance: Regularly execute automated test suites and maintain test scripts
• to keep them up-to-date with application changes.
• Defect Identification and Reporting: Analyze test results to identify defects and accurately report
• them to the development team.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with software developers, quality assurance
• analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
• Continuous Learning and Innovation: Stay updated on the latest automation tools and techniques to
• continuously improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Performance Optimization: Conduct performance testing to identify bottlenecks and optimize
• application performance.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

• Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, or C#.
• Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, JMeter).
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Understanding of testing concepts and techniques (e.g., unit testing, integration testing, regression
• testing).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of API testing and automation.
• Experience with performance testing tools and techniques.
