Automation Workflow Engineer

Role Overview

We seek an Automation Workflow Engineer to join our team and develop innovative workflow automation solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience with automation tools like Make, n8n or Zapier and a strong understanding of APIs and workflow optimization.

You’ll create solutions for diverse use cases, including CRM integrations, e-commerce automation, marketing campaigns, voice agents, and IT workflows. This role offers exposure to advanced tools and real-world applications in customer support, finance, analytics, and conversational AI.

The candidate must be proficient in Python, JavaScript, and Bash scripting and familiar with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure for deploying and managing automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Design and Development:

Design, develop, and implement automated workflows using tools like Make, n8n and Zapier.

Use Python, JavaScript, and Bash scripting to build custom automation logic, handle API integrations, and create efficient, scalable workflows.

System Integration:

Leverage APIs, webhooks, and AI-powered technologies to integrate systems and enhance automated processes.

Work with AI tools to automate data extraction, user interaction, and other tasks in the workflow.

Deploy and manage automated workflows using cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

The role involves integrating popular tools like MySQL, Jira, Twilio, Telegram, Airtable, GitHub, Calendly, Hubspot, Salesforce, AWS Lambda, and more to build seamless automated workflows.

Testing, Optimization, and Troubleshooting:

Continuously test, optimize, and monitor workflows, ensuring AI components and other automation tools function as intended. Troubleshoot issues with automated workflows, AI bot integrations, and cloud-based services, implementing fixes as needed.

Documentation and Collaboration:

Document workflows, including AI bot integration, and provide clear guidance for stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and incorporate automation and AI solutions effectively.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay up-to-date with advancements in automation tools, AI technologies, and cloud platforms, recommending new approaches for improving workflow efficiency. Contribute to the continuous improvement of AI and automation capabilities within the company.

Independent Work:

As part of a small team in a new area, work independently, taking initiative and responsibility for the development and implementation of automation solutions. Self-managed tasks and projects, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality.

Skills and Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred but not essential).

Automation Tools: Experience with platforms like Make, n8n, Zapier, or similar no-code/low-code tools.

Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and Bash scripting to create custom solutions and automate tasks.

AI: Experience with integrating AI bots, voice bots, and LLMs (e.g., GPT-3/4) into workflows.

Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure for deploying and managing automation solutions.

API Integration: Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and data formats like JSON and XML.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to design logical workflows to solve complex problems, including AI-related challenges.

Attention to Detail: Ability to create robust, error-free workflows and handle edge cases effectively.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical

stakeholders.

Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

Desirable Experience: Familiarity with process improvement methodologies, working knowledge of business systems like CRMs or ERPs, and experience with AI toolkits like OpenAI, Dialogflow, or Rasa.

Additional Details

Working Hours: 4:00 PM—12:00 AM PKT (11:00 AM—7:00 PM GMT), with potential adjustments based on project requirements.

Location: This is an on-site position based in our Lahore office.

Projects: The role will involve integration with blockchain and Web3 elements.
