Back End Developer (Node Js)

INTECH IIS applications - built on its proprietary Industry 4.0 platform: TEAMPLAY - help address operational, optimization, and performance challenges faced by industries, be it in manufacturing, oil & gas, chemical & process, food & beverages, or metals & mining. These applications harness the capabilities of artificial intelligence, machine learning, physical and knowledge modeling, and visualizations for analyses on real-time and historical big data. TEAMPLAY applications provide analytics, insights, trends, decision support, and predictions to help improve performance and reduce downtime or losses.

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality Node.js applications, services, and APIs
• Design scalable, secure, and optimized backend architectures
• Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL) to manage data effectively
• Optimize application performance for high scalability and performance
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Debug and resolve complex technical issues in real-time
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Ensure best practices in testing and CI/CD pipelines
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote a culture of continuous improvement
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to enhance product quality
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3 -5 years of professional experience in backend development, specifically with Node.js
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with a solid understanding of asynchronous programming, closures, and ES6+
• Proficient with Node.js frameworks such as Express or Nest.js
• Experience with RESTful API design and GraphQL is a plus
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a bonus
• Expertise in working with databases, such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless architecture is a plus
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Strong communication skills with a proactive approach to work
