droppGroup is expanding its teams and is seeking highly skilled and motivated Blockchain Developers with strong credentials and a proven track record. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in designing, developing and deploying smart contracts with a focus on asset tokenization, cross-sector value flows and automated distribution mechanisms across decentralized systems. This role requires a strong understanding of blockchain architecture, token standards, and interoperability protocols, along with a commitment to building secure, efficient and scalable smart contract solutions for real-world applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, write and maintain secure and efficient smart contracts in non-EVM Solidity-compatible environments
- Develop blockchain applications focused on asset tokenization, value flows and decentralized distribution models for non-EVM platforms
- Implement and customize cross-chain token standards and interoperability mechanisms for networks that extend or diverge from the standard EVM architecture
- Build logic for automated and rules-based distribution of value across smart contract systems, including streaming payments and conditional settlements
- Integrate smart contracts with broader blockchain infrastructure such as L2 rollups, zero-knowledge proof systems, bridges and off-chain oracles
- Optimize contracts for performance in non-EVM virtual machines, including minimizing storage access, adapting to custom gas models and aligning with protocol-specific constraints
- Apply formal verification, static analysis and other advanced security techniques suitable for Solidity in emerging non-EVM chains
- Maintain thorough documentation of contract logic, system architecture and deployment pipelines tailored to non-standard toolchains
- Collaborate with internal teams to align smart contract capabilities with broader system design, especially where EVM assumptions don’t apply
- Explore and contribute to evolving tokenization protocols and compliance models designed for next generation blockchain ecosystems
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience developing and deploying smart contracts in production environments, including on non-EVM or EVM-variant chains
- Proven experience with real-world asset (RWA) tokenization and on-chain asset frameworks
- Proficiency in Solidity, with a focus on its use in non-EVM or extended-EVM platforms such as zkSync, StarkNet (Warp), or custom VMs supporting Solidity-like languages
- Strong understanding of non-EVM execution environments and modified virtual machine architectures
- Deep familiarity with cross-chain token standards and interoperability protocols such as LayerZero, Cosmos IBC, or CCIP
- Demonstrated ability to implement and extend token standards including ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155 and protocol-specific variations
- Skilled in using testing frameworks and dev tools such as Foundry, Hardhat and custom pipelines for non-EVM targets
- Experience working with blockchain development libraries including Web3.js, Ethers.js or their equivalents in non-EVM ecosystems
- Knowledge of blockchain security best practices, with hands-on experience preventing and mitigating vulnerabilities like reentrancy, overflows and front-running in modified or experimental VM environments
- Familiarity with formal verification and static analysis tools adapted to Solidity workflows, including MythX, Slither and Certora where applicable
- Strong track record of optimizing smart contract performance for gas usage, execution efficiency and protocol-specific resource constraints
