Overview
BU Projects Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing and leading Engineering Projects from ideation through to completion at national level. The role covers 2 Factories and Agro facilities with team spread out location wise. It requires close coordination and interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously.

Knowledge/Skill
BU Projects Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing and leading Engineering Projects from ideation through to completion at national level. The role covers 2 Factories and Agro facilities with team spread out location wise. It requires close coordination and interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all Capex projects are planned, driven, and completed within specified budgets, timelines, and as per company policies.
- Maintain a continuous focus on EHS standards and ensure all projects conform to regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with external suppliers, machine manufacturers, and internal departments to ensure successful project delivery.
- PepsiCo Project Management methodology and Initiative Management techniques to ensure projects are executed efficiently and detailed accurately.
- Collaborate with production and other stakeholders to optimize prioritization, manage Capex expenditure within budget, and provide necessary documentation for project approval.
- Foster a culture of openness and continuous improvement within the team, ensuring proper training, succession planning, and regular performance reviews.
- Work closely with local Operations, Procurement, and other business partners to ensure projects align with company policies and strategies.
- Promote continuous improvement, share knowledge across functions, and implement best practices to enhance project outcomes and speed-to-market

- Work closely with local Finance, Operations, Procurement, and other business partners to ensure projects align with company policies and strategies.

Knowledge/Skill
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical
- PMP Certification is preferred.
- University degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics) with 8-10 years of project management experience in manufacturing facilities.
- Strong understanding of factory operations, mechanical engineering, and basic electrical engineering, with experience in design documentation, testing, and equipment commissioning.
- High-level interpersonal skills, effective time and change management abilities, and experience in contract management with good negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S), factory operations, financial controls, budgetary accounting, and legal requirements for contracts and agreements.
- Ensure all projects have an approved Business Case, are completed on time and within budget, and all necessary documentation for legal, financial, and reporting is completed
