Business Development Manager - FMCG Distribution

Dukan is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in our FMCG distribution segment. This role focuses on leveraging existing relationships with decision makers in the FMCG and distribution sectors to enhance our market presence and drive revenue. The successful candidate will manage a team of 30 professionals, responsible for field activations and the implementation of channel strategies that align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate possesses comprehensive knowledge of distribution management systems, market analysis, and negotiation, alongside a demonstrable ability to manage field sales staff effectively. Additionally, familiarity with fintech solutions, especially related to merchant payments and digital lending, will be highly regarded as we aim to innovate our financial processes and offerings. The position is based in Lahore and requires direct communication with senior leadership to articulate the value of our digital solutions. Highly competitive salary with generous monthly target based commissions will be given to the successful candidate.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to expand Dukan's footprint in the FMCG distribution sector.
· Leverage existing relationships with FMCG decision makers and distributors to drive new business opportunities.
· Manage and lead a team of 30 field activation professionals to ensure successful execution of sales strategies and field activations.
· Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the FMCG distribution space.
· Negotiate contractual agreements and terms with partners, ensuring mutually beneficial arrangements that support business growth.
· Oversee the development and optimization of distribution channel strategies to enhance product availability and visibility in the market.
· Monitor and analyze team performance using analytics dashboards and various data tools, ensuring alignment with sales targets and KPIs.
· Provide training and support to field activation staff, equipping them with the tools and knowledge needed for success in the field.
· Act as the primary liaison between Dukan and senior leadership, effectively communicating the value proposition of our digital solutions for payment collection and credit enablement.
· Identify and implement best practices in partner relationship management to foster long-term partnerships with key stakeholders.
· Engage in ongoing learning and adaptation of industry trends, maintaining a high level of market knowledge that informs strategic decisions.
