Position Summary
To develop the Category/Sub Category agenda within the business to support long term Category growth and profitably increase market share. projects in line with the Company objectives in the OPL and business plan and our commitment to Breast Feeding, Local & WHO Code.
A day in the life of CPM:
Leading the MBP process and ensuring end to end planning of categories to drive growthMaintaining market hygiene across categoriesEnd to end planning of executing the new launchesDevelop Category Strategy document based on shopper excellence and category dynamics (Category definition, channel growth potential of category and key opportunities, define Point Of Purchase (POP) strategies and picture of success)
Develop a structured program of shopper excellence for the category and be recognized as an expert in shopper and category understanding, and insights through formal research and shopper immersions in all priority channels. Identify priority channels for the Category/sub Category and work with Channel Managers to recommend tailored Category Channel plans in line with overall market strategyDevelop and propose the in-store vision of success for the category/sub category in each channel. Support its implementation and continuously review the effectiveness of our in-store actions.Contribute to the ICP process by identifying the key opportunities and possible action plans for the Category/sub Category.Recommend actionable in-store solutions based on a clear understanding on shopper behavior within your Category/sub Category.Recommend clear promotional guidelines based on shopper understanding and current market knowledge. Ensure all promotional investment is properly reviewed and evaluatedRecommend winning commercial propositions for the category/sub category, effectively communicating these to field sales managers as appropriate.Ensure adherence to all company principles and policies.Ensure continuous improvement using the NCE methodology
Key Experiences
3+ years commercial experience, Previous experience in Sales and/or Marketing Demonstrable record of success in a customer facing role.
Development /Execution of ICP.
Ability to motivate and develop people
