Job Description
- As a Business Controller the individual will gain exposure to various aspects of the business and to senior executives and gain an in-depth understanding of the financial reporting, values, strategies, and processes.
- Reporting directly to the GM/CEO of customer centre, the Business controller will provide the General Manager with relevant and accurate information to drive the business forward and take informed decisions.
- You will lead in process improvement by educating, coaching, and facilitating others on process improvement philosophy, tools, and applications to analyses financial results of operations and establish financial direction to improve performance of operations.
- Reporting sales, results and analysis to various internal and external stakeholders is also a key aspect of this position.
- You will be responsible to overlook and facilitate diverse business processes like Business Planning and Budgeting, Accounting and SAP ERP Controls, Financial Reporting, Taxation, Treasury, Legal & Company Secretary Role, Audit, Contract Management, Policies and Procedures / ISO

Knowledge
- Chartered Accountant, master’s degree in finance or similar through extensive experience in an Industrial environment.
- At least 3 years of experience of working in SAP environment with detailed knowledge of its various reports
- At least 5 years’ experience in handling all taxation, legal matters of the company including company secretary
- Strong financial, operational, and strategic business acumen.
- Demonstrate versatility to think strategically while maintaining detail orientation and a high level of organization when necessary.
Skills and Attitude
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite specifically Excel and the use of pivot tables.
- Must be comfortable presenting findings and recommendations to key executives and influencing at all levels of the organization.
- Appreciates and is sensitive to cultural difference in a global organization.
- Inspires trust and demonstrates integrity in all business activities.
- Ability to quickly absorb complex information, identify key points, and form a perceptive viewpoint.
- Ability to read, write and speak well in English and possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
