About the Role

Our client, a well-established leader in the chemical manufacturing sector, is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead their financial operations and support the company’s long-term growth. This is a key leadership position responsible for driving financial planning, risk management, and operational excellence across all business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial functions including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to ensure sustainable business growth and profitability.
• Monitor key financial metrics and provide actionable insights to the management and board.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
• Lead and mentor the finance team to improve efficiency, accountability, and analytical capabilities.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business expansion, investments, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Evaluate financial risks, propose mitigation strategies, and maintain robust internal controls.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Drive digital transformation and system improvements in financial operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, or MBA (Finance) from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Minimum 10–15 years of financial leadership experience, preferably in the chemical or manufacturing sector.
• Proven expertise in strategic financial planning, cost control, and operational finance.
• Strong understanding of taxation, compliance, and ERP-based financial systems.
• Exceptional analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
